Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was a little different. It started with Jeff leaving at 6am to catch a flight to Belgium. Yes, Jeff left me alone on Mother's Day! Caleb, Adam, and Emily definitely made up for his absence and so did Jeff before he left. He bought me an iPod! Caleb made me a beautiful book of poetry that he wrote and had it bound. He is so creative and I really enjoy him sharing his poetry. Adam helped Liz make me a wonderful dinner and Emily gave me a beautiful card. Though I missed having Jeff here, my children are such a beautiful gift. Each one is a little miracle. I can't think of anything better than being their mother!
